Gillespie County Fair

Who doesn’t love a county fair? Especially the Gillespie County Fair - the Oldest Continuous County Fair in Texas!

In 2020, the Gillespie County Fair parade will not be held and these components of the fair will not take place - carnival, concerts, vendors, goat roping, tractor club, washer pitching, and the 42 Tournament. However, the horse races, exhibits, and livestock shows will all be held.

Traditionally, visitors can enjoy a weekend of Texas Hill Country hospitality that the entire family will love with four days of events including the Gillespie County Fair Parade down Main Street, a queens contest, carnival and midway games, all the fair food you can imagine, livestock judging, agricultural and household exhibits, arts and crafts, antique tractor shows, live music with dancing and live pari-mutuel horse racing.
