Peach Season in Fredericksburg

Fredericksburg and Stonewall peaches are a beloved Texas staple in the summertime. A typical peach season in the Fredericksburg area takes place mid-May through mid-August, bringing bushels of fresh Texas Hill Country peaches to roadside stands and local restaurant menus. 

2024 PEACH SEASON UPDATE AS OF April 26

Peaches will soon be returning to Fredericksburg and Gillespie County. Growers are expecting peaches to be widely available beginning Mother's Day weekend. Jamey Vogel of Vogel Orchards is predicting a better season than the previous two years as the area received more moisture and chill hours. Peaches should be available throughout the typical season on mid-May through mid-August.
