The name may be new, but the place we’re here to share is the same. Here, strangers are treated like old friends, every glass is half full and there’s always a seat at the table.

The Fredericksburg Convention and Visitor Bureau (FCVB) is the destination marketing organization for Fredericksburg and Gillespie County. We work alongside local businesses, attractions, hotels, restaurants, wineries, retailers and community partners to share what makes this place special and welcome visitors from near and far.
From our historic downtown and Texas Wine Country to the people, places and experiences that make a visit memorable, our work is simple: invite people to experience Fredericksburg for themselves.
The FCVB promotes Fredericksburg and Gillespie County as a destination for leisure travelers, meetings and groups, and other visitors. Through destination marketing, public relations, sales, visitor services and partnerships with our local tourism industry, we help connect people with the best of Fredericksburg.We believe what makes a destination special is more than what you can see and do. The Mission of The Fredericksburg Convention and Visitor Bureau is to preserve, protect and promote Fredericksburg and Gillespie County destination offerings to enhance economic vitality and quality of place.
This mission is accomplished by passionate people working in partnership to create and market an overnight destination where visitors can experience the richness of our cultural, natural and culinary offerings, as well as the diversity and quality of our retail, entertainment and accommodations mix.
