In addition to the popular Summit Trail, there are various hiking trails at Enchanted Rock State Natural Area including more than 8 miles of scenic trails. The trails bring opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors on foot or on horseback and spot Texas Hill Country wildlife like whitetail deer and various birds. 

For a quick hike near downtown Fredericksburg, try the trail at Cross Mountain Park which offer views of downtown Fredericksburg and the Texas Hill Country. 

Or enjoy 10 acres of natural landscape from the one-mile walking trail along Live Oak Creek at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park, or a 500-foot long handicap accessible trail that connects with a peaceful bird feeding area and butterfly habitat which continues along the Vista Loop Trail.
