If you’re visiting with little ones in tow, we’ve got them covered. Many of our parks and museums have special events for younger visitors, so be sure to check the event calendar for dates and details. Also, don’t forget Main Street shopping! We have toy stores, plenty of ice cream, and other kid-friendly eateries.
To keep those little hands busy, the Fredericksburg area also has seasonal pick-your-own orchards and the popular Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm at Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site near Stonewall. Take a walk through history at Pioneer Museum, and explore their gift shop for lots of kid-friendly gifts.
