Peaches will soon be returning to Fredericksburg and Gillespie County. Growers are expecting peaches to be widely available beginning Mother's Day weekend. Jamey Vogel of Vogel Orchards is predicting a better season than the previous two years as the area received more moisture and chill hours. Peaches should be available throughout the typical season from mid-May through mid-August.
