Built in October 1859, this house has been a residence, a granary, and a barn. A large front porch invites you to enjoy the country quiet by use of rocking chairs. A living room, bathroom, and kitchen comprise the downstairs. Kitchen is fully equipped for light cooking. The bath has a shower. Looking out from the back porch, you will be entranced by endless pockets of farmland and meadows. The original staircase that leads upstairs to the bedroom is steep, so be very careful, but takes full advantage of the uniquely pitched roof. Exposed wood ceilings and rustic rope trim give you a rich feeling of country appeal. Guests are welcome to venture into the basement and look over some of the family antiques and farm implements.
