2025 Peach Forecast: A Promising Season Ahead!
Peach trees rely on "chill hours," which are temperatures at or below 45 degrees during the winter months, to set a healthy crop. While December brought milder weather, January delivered beautifully, helping us close out the dormant season with approximately 700 chill hours.
This level of chill is just what we need for a promising peach harvest. Now, we are keeping our fingers crossed for sunny skies ahead and hoping to avoid any late freezes or spring storms.
