Overview
The Pioneer Memorial Library will be hosting the first annual Hill Country Author Event for local authors in the Texas Hill Country area. This event will be held on Saturday, September 12th from 10:00am-1:00pm. There will be tables for authors to meet-and-greet readers and sign books. Children's book authors will be given an opportunity to have a small reading of their book to children.

Recent weather brought flooding to portions of Gillespie County and surrounding communities, and our thoughts are with everyone who has been impacted. We are grateful that the rain has moved through the area, and the vast majority of Fredericksburg and Gillespie County businesses are open.
