Browse for a new book at the Pioneer Memorial Library's monthly Sidewalk Book Sale! Sales happen most second Saturdays (from March-December) from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Check this calendar or contact the Library for date changes. Here you can find an ever-changing assortment of books, from bestsellers and nonfiction to kids books and cookbooks. Prices range from 50 cents to $3. Remember: In addition to sidewalk sales, the used book store inside the Library is open whenever the Library is open! Proceeds support Library programs. Cash and checks are appreciated. Or you can pay it forward by purchasing a book off our wishlist to be donated back to the Library. Hosted by the Friends of the Pioneer Memorial Library volunteer organization.
Weather Update
Recent weather brought flooding to portions of Gillespie County and surrounding communities, and our thoughts are with everyone who has been impacted. We are grateful that the rain has moved through the area, and the vast majority of Fredericksburg and Gillespie County businesses are open. Residents and visitors are encouraged to check directly with individual businesses for current hours or availability and refer to TxDOT and the City of Fredericksburg for the latest road conditions and any localized closures.
