Have you ever wondered what birds you see in your parks, neighborhood or own backyard? Learn some tips to finding and identifying birds along with a few handy tools and apps that can aid you on your journey. After a brief intro, we'll go for a short walk on the nature trail, looking for birds. Bring: Binoculars (or borrow a pair from the park) Bird identification books and/or apps (handy apps to download in advance are: Merlin (for identifying birds by sight and sound) and eBird (for reporting bird sightings to help with community science!)"
