While the Museum focuses on the Pacific Theater of World War II, events in Europe had a significant impact on how the war in the Pacific was fought. Decisions made, resources allocated, and strategies developed in the European Theater shaped the global course of the conflict.

This FREE Outpost program offers visitors an opportunity to learn about the European Theater of World War II and its connection to the broader war effort. Held in recognition of the 81st anniversary of D-Day, this outpost explores key moments, military operations, and the global significance of the fighting in Europe.

Outpost programs are educational, drop-in experiences held on select Saturdays on the Nimitz Platz at 340 E Main St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624. Visitors of all ages are welcome to stop by, ask questions, and engage directly with history.
