A founding father of the progressive country scene in Austin during the 1970s, Gary P. Nunn helped redefine American music. With a career spanning over 50 years, Nunn has become a proud ambassador for the Lone Star State, known worldwide for his heartfelt songs celebrating Texas life, culture, and spirit.
Best known for his iconic “London Homesick Blues”—the theme song of Austin City Limits for nearly three decades—and his self-penned anthem “What I Like About Texas”, Nunn has released 17 albums, written more than 200 songs, and earned songwriting credits with country’s biggest names, including Willie Nelson’s hit “The Last Thing I Needed, The First Thing This Morning.”
Over the years, Nunn has shared the stage with legends, earned honors such as the Texas Hall of Fame induction and the CMA of Texas Living Legend Award, and continues to inspire fans worldwide.
