With over 60 years of combined live performance and studio experience, these three native Texans have gotten together to form "The Texas Trio". All accomplished musicians in their own right, playing a private party together here and there got them asking themselves if they could perform together as a group on the side. Having their love of traditional country music and Western swing in mind, Kyle, Jason, and John Michael have decided to give it a go and are only in the beginning stages of this project.
Kyle has had numerous #1 songs played on Texas radio, and has been performing and touring with his own band for 15 years, routinely performing over 100 shows per year at venues across the country, as well as Europe.
Jason joined the western swing supergroup, Asleep At The Wheel, and was a vital member of the band for sixteen years, performing at venues all across the world from The Broken Spoke in Austin, TX, to Carnegie Hall in New York, NY. He has earned two Grammy Awards. Currently, he is the the front man of the iconic Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys.
John Michael joined western swing supergroup, Asleep At The Wheel, and was a member for 8 years. During that time, he also had a three year residency with his longtime friends the Randy Rogers Band. For the past 19 years, John Michael has been the keyboardist of George Strait's famous Ace in the Hole Band.
