Experience a unique mix of German Christmas Traditions and warm Texan hospitality at Fredericksburg's Christmas Nights of Lights. Held nightly form the week of Thanksgiving through the first week in January, gather with family and friends to see the nightly lighting of the Community Christmas Tree and German Christmas Pyramid. Music begins at 5 p.m. and a 10-minute audio program with a countdown begins at 6 p.m.
Take the family to skate a few laps at Fredericksburg's only outdoor ice skating rink, Eisbahn. The rink is located at Marktplatz in the Kinderhalle Pavilion. Come-and-go passes are $15 including skate rental. Passes are $10 on Tuesdays.

Celebrate the start of 2024 with a family-friendly New Year's Eve celebration an ball drop at Marktplatz. The free event includes children's games, face painting, live music, arts and crafts and more from 3-6:30 p.m. The ceremonial ball drop concludes the event at 6:30 p.m.
