The Fredericksburg cycling community also hosts regular rides that are open to the public. Hill Country Bicycle Works offers an 8 a.m. Friday no-one-left-behind ride that begins at Marktplatz. It is a road ride at a steady workout pace with several regroup spots.

Texas Bike Tours, which partners with Jack and Adam’s, allows you to create your own completely personalized cycling tour of the Texas Hill Country. Each tour includes rental bikes picked just for you by the TXBT crew, SAG Wagon road support, homemade goodies from the TXBT chef and a photographer to capture your experiences.

Interested in Mountain Biking? The Texas Hill Country boasts several areas that are excellent for mountain biking, including Hill Country State Natural Area, near Bandera, Pedernales Falls State Park, near Johnson City, and Flat Rock Ranch, near Comfort.
