Fredericksburg has two main historic cemeteries located at the east and west ends of town. Der Stadt Friedhof, located at the 300 block of North Lee Street and the Catholic Cemetery, located on Catholic Cemetery Road are both known for their striking granite markers and headstones, many in German.
