Quiet and peaceful. Nice place, great location. Got exactly what we wanted: quiet.
The only negative was we arrived at 11pm and management company gave us the wrong code to the key box. We were about to give up but my wife managed to crack the combo

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at Serendipity, and we would CERTAINLY come stay again. The fire pit, bicycles, quiet neighborhood, and convenience to Main Street were ideal! The property owners live onsite and were incredibly courteous, helpful, and welcoming. A+ rating in our book!

This AirBnB was really nice. There were plenty of great features. Clean and fluffy towels. Bath robes. Extra blanket. Thoughtful bath items. Snacks. Great coffee choices. And more. But, as a disabled veteran, this AirBnB was not the right choice. Although the bed was comfortable and toasty, it was too high. I'm 5'10" and struggled. My friend is barely over 5' and she struggled. This AirBnB is also two floors with the "great' room upstairs. The stairs are outside. Downstairs, the tub is in bedroom. It's a quaint, old-fashioned tub with a suspended shower curtain. But, because of my lower back pain, it was next to impossible to raise my leg to enter the tub. I was also nervous showering because there were no grab bars or walls to hold onto. If you're healthy, then i recommend this AirBnB. But,if you have any type of disabilities, I would not pick this AirBnB.

We loved our stay at Serendipity! Although it was just a little bit small for a 6'5" person with its cozy low ceilings and snug bathroom, the house was comfortable, clean, cute, and close to the shops and restaurants on Main. Check-in and check-out were easy breezy. I would definitely stay here again!

We've stayed in 18-20 B&B style rentals in Fredericksburg over the past 25-30 years. This is an outstanding property! The style is not for everyone, however, it suited our needs perfectly.
The property is quaint and in wonderful condition. The hosts are friendly and informative, yet not intrusive. The location was quiet and very close to everything we enjoy while staying in Fredericksburg.

The place was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. If you need real creamer (vs powder) with your coffee, bring it with you and put it in the available mini-fridge. Be aware that the stairs between floors are external to the unit and they are pretty steep but, as long as you are mobile and dressed, you should be fine. :-) The bathtub is in the bedroom downstairs and we were fine with that but it is up close and personal. haha It was nice that the hosts provided coffee, tea, TV, and DVDs as well as wine glasses and a corkscrew in the upstairs part of the rental. It is close to main street but super quiet and easy to get to everything. All in all, we were happy with our stay!

I recently traveled to Fredericksburg to attend the Hill Country Film Festival which had venues for screenings and events in several Main Street adjacent areas. Having access to bicycles provided by the host made moving around town so accessible and easy. But it was hard to leave the house in the first place because it was so cozy and sweet. Also really loved that clawfoot tub!

We loved the little cottage. It was walking distance from many great restaurants and shops. The cottage was very clean and well stocked. We enjoyed trying out the tandem bicycles, although I’ll have to admit, we didn’t make it very far. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Hada great weekend here, picking up keys and checking in was easy, location of house compared to main street was great. The cabin is nice and has great outdoor area where we spent most of the time by the fire pit. It took a minute to get used to having a shower right in the bedroom( my wife got a good laugh about it) but overall it was a great experience. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone looking for a great place a short walk from downtown Fredericksburg
The house was clean and conveniently located right off of Main Street. It was small and cozy with a comfortable bed and the property owner was very nice and helpful but we only saw her once during our whole stay. She met us to give us a couple of specific details about the house and that’s it. I would stay here again.. it was clean and just what we were looking for.
