Second stay

Booked again after enjoyed the house and location so much last year! Had a great visit again. House is well maintained and so close to main street. Hope to make this a recurring visit in the years to come!

Annual trip to Texas

I make an annual trip from NY to visit family near Houston,Texas. This year I wanted to visit Fredericksburg. This home was a great place to stay while we explored the area. Spent 2 nights but could have easily stayed all week. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, dishes, towels, cleaning supplies, etc even K-cups for the Keurig. Beds were comfy, bath has a large walk-in shower, we left behind severals travel size toiletries as they are not supplied. We didn't use it but there is a washer / dryer in the garage also a gated drive for privacy and additional security. We were entertained by the multitude of globes/maps, various wall art objects, mirrors, antique items, games, cards, large TV with many viewing platforms and even an outdoor sitting area with a fire pit and bbq. All of this within a few blocks of Main Street. Highly recommend if you want to visit Fredericksburg.

Another great stay!

Another great stay at this house!! Everything is spot-on (but bring your own shampoo and soap). Beds are SO comfortable. Brad is a great host and responds quickly. We love it here!

Lovely spot close to Main Street and Walkable

We come to Fredericksburg a few times a year for work and found this place. Lovely spot close to Main Street. The house is very comfortable and has a lot of eclectic decorations (antique clocks, phones...and African fertility carvings). Love the couch, so comfortable and great for watching TV at night. A couple of points. The listen says there is a washer and dryer, but there isn't. There also isn't a fireplace, but there is an outdoor fire pit. Finally, as others have noted, a guide to the TV would be helpful. It was confusing to get the TV and soundbar to sync up. Otherwise, the property really is lovely, very convenient and we would consider staying here again on a future work trip.

This beautiful home is a stones throw from Main Street. With its beautiful decor, open floor plan, and plenty of space to entertain, this house comfortably accommodates 5-6 guests, and includes two bedrooms with one bath. Our front porch and backyard seating area are perfect for enjoying your favorite beverage and sharing quality time with others. Our guest house is located one block from Main Street (hence the name) where you can find food, fun, and culture that is just a short stroll away!
