Welcome to Der Fels, Cabernet Cottage! The Cabernet Cottage is a luxury, studio-size space, with a tranquil, electric fireplace, and an inviting courtyard with a sitting area, that’s located in the “heart” of Fredericksburg's famous 290 Winery Corridor! Fredericksburg is widely regarded as one of the top ten winery destinations in the world, and there is no better vantage point for exploring all of them than while staying at the completely private cottages of Der Fels!
The Cabernet Cottage is a luxury suite in the heart of wine country and is close to the famous Wildseed Farms, and wineries such as Messina Hof, Mendelbaum, and Grape Creek. It’s even close to Luckenbach!
The Cabernet is a limestone cottage with all the comforts of home. This charming suite offers everything today's traveler wants, in a private setting. Enjoy the private, fully fenced courtyard to yourselves, or, step back inside to enjoy a relaxing night of TV! Additionally, the Cabernet Cottage is outfitted with a king-size bed dressed in beautiful linens, and a Cozi sitting area to set the mood! Make the Cabernet Cottage your own private outpost in the Hill Country, and we’ll see y’all again soon!

**This unit is not equipped with a fully outfitted kitchen. Please plan accordingly.
Great news for pet lovers! This property is pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along for the adventure. We want everyone to enjoy their stay, including your four-legged family member. To ensure a paw-sitive experience please be aware of the following:

We're delighted to welcome furry friends! This property is pet-friendly for dogs, unfortunately we can't accommodate cats at this time.
-Pet fee(s) will apply in addition to the nightly rate.
-This unit will allow one pet that is 20 lbs or under.
-Please keep your pups leashed outside and clean up after them.
-A separate pet waiver must be signed.
-Any and all damages or issues caused by your pet to a unit or furnishing will be immediately charged to your credit card on file.

Perfect Location - Comfortable Room

Location is perfectly located a few miles outside of downtown Fredericksburg: a few minutes drive to Main Street for shopping and dining as well as a few minutes from most major vineyards and wineries. Closely located near Trade Days as well as Luckenbach.
Privacy fence is perfect with an nice hot tub. Comfortable bed, flatwear and microwave.

The place was super cute and cozy. The electric fireplace was on when we came in, along with some nice lofi which really set the vibe. The place has it's own little backyard with the hot tub which was great for our little dog, and the fence is extra tall for added privacy. Also, it's only a 5 minute drive from all the wineries! The host was very helpful and quick to respond when we had questions too. Overall great experience!

We had a great stay! My husband and I just needed a couple days away to relax and this was the perfect place. We have stayed at numerous places in Fredricksburg, this is by far one of our favorites. We loved the privacy with the fenced in area. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was spacious with a great shower. The hot tub was the perfect ending to our day. Will definitely be staying here again!

This place really fit the description! It was about 15 mins outside of the downtown area of Fredericksburg. I loved it, so peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub was perfect and I enjoyed it every night I was there. The only thing that could’ve made this cozy house better was a set of silverware and a plate and bowl, other than that it was all setup beautifully.

Great place to stay! Location is perfect. Close to downtown and just minutes from some of the best wineries the area has to offer. Only down side was that the pictures for the listing did not show that this unit offered a hot tub. They need to update the photos and let their guest know this is available and ready to utilize.
