Enchanted Rock State Natural Area

About

Enjoy the beauty of Enchanted Rock State Natural Area. Campsites are located near the shower building, with water faucets nearby. Some sites have shade shelters over the picnic table. Campsites are 25 to 100 yards from the parking area. No RVs, pop-ups, or vehicle camping is allowed. The primitive campsites, Moss Lake (eight sites) and Walnut Springs (12 sites) are a one to three mile hike over rugged terrain. The park charges an excess vehicle fee of $6 per car, per night, for each vehicle over two per campsite. No ash-producing fires are permitted in this area. You may use containerized fuel stoves that can be turned off for cooking. Please note that the TPWD reservation system is now active. You can go online (or call 512-389-8900) and make a reservation for a "save the day pass" up to 30 days before your arrival date so that you won't have to wait in line and to ensure your entry to the park!
