Wildseed Farms Vineyards

About

Founded in 1983, by John and Marilyn Thomas, Wildseed Farms has been the trailblazer for the wildflower industry. The family decided to put their five generations of farming and harvesting experience into the planting of their first vineyard in 2015. Currently consisting of 42 acres, the next planting cycle will add an additional 12 acres in 2024. The vineyard's 2019 High Plains Montepulciano won a gold medal at the 2023 San Antonio Stock Show Wine Competition and was the Texas Reserve Champion. The 2018 High Plains Tannat won Double Gold at the 2022 San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. Come for the flowers but stay for award-winning wines served in a relaxing, state-of-the-art tasting room. Come visit. Children and pets welcome.
