  • Wedding Facility Details: The Former Texas Ranger Heritage Center can host up to 350 wedding guests and have plenty of room for a dance floor during the reception, if desired. There is an 18’ x 24’ stage which is available for the following types of uses, the head table, deejay or five-piece band, are the most common uses. When a couple chooses the Heritage Center, they have the option to say their vows in the pavilion, the open-air amphitheater or the limestone pad outdoors which is situated on a rise with a grassy knoll that can accommodate approximately 85 guests. Guests will be shaded by a huge oak tree in the west and when looking east can enjoy a pastoral view of the wildlife grazing in the natural beauty of the Hill Country. When renting the facilities, lessees may decorate the day before a wedding and have until noon the day after the wedding to finish cleaning and moving all decorations out of the facility. One example; decorating on Friday, holding the wedding rehearsal and dinner Friday evening, complete decorating Saturday morning, have the wedding Saturday afternoon/evening, cleaning tables and small decorations in the pavilion before midnight and returning on Sunday morning to complete the cleaning process. All these amenities are included in the wedding lease.

  • Description The Former Texas Ranger Heritage Center is a beautiful Hill Country Limestone open air pavilion which is 10,000 sq feet and is located at the edge of Fredericksburg on Highway 290 East. In the summer, huge ceiling fans and nature’s natural breeze cools guests and in the winter, standing heaters keep everyone toasty. There are large screens which can be raised or lowered depending on the lessee’s preference. Besides the main pavilion there is an approximately 3,000 sq. ft. amphitheater featuring a fire pit and panoramic views of the Texas Hill Country. The facility includes a catering kitchen with a large ice machine which can serve up to 350 guests at a time, and a stage which will serve a rocking deejay or a five-piece band comfortably.
