Sheriff on Schubert

About

Escape to this cozy and classic, two-story home, Sheriff on Schubert - perfect for a family vacation or couples retreat. This is one of the oldest homes in the historic town of Fredericksburg; it was built back in 1848 by Julius Splittgerber, an original settler and one of the first Sheriffs of Fredericksburg and Gillespie County. Whip up quick snacks or full-course dinners in the well-equipped kitchen, dine together at the adjacent table for four, and then settle in for relaxing evenings in the front living area complete with a flatscreen TV. This vacation rental also features a furnished sunroom - perfect for lazy afternoons with a cup of tea and a good book. This home is almost always covered in shade by the five large, mature pecan trees surrounding it and nestled in the quant landscaping. The home has three bedrooms, two with king beds and one with two twin beds. There are 2 bathrooms. Pets allowed. This home is just a couple of blocks from Main Street. You'll also find a variety of tasting rooms nearby, as well as dozens of renowned Gillespie County wineries within a short drive.
