Old Fair Park

Old Fair Park, the site of the Gillespie County Fair from 1892-1976, is in the Warehouse District of Fredericksburg. The park is designed for sports play and recreation with regulation baseball and softball lighted fields, a brand-new inclusive playground, a skate park, a soccer field and a basketball pavilion. It is a great way to take in some team sports or organize a recreational game when the facilities are not reserved. Facility reservations may be made starting just after midnight each night, 365 days in advance, or over the phone or in-person at LBJ Municipal Park Headquarters during regular hours, if the facility is still available.
