About
Melissa’s Farmstead is a beautiful, recently renovated mid-1800s homestead and living barn located four miles from historic downtown Fredericksburg, TX. There are two properties: The Farmstead and the Cottage. Properties are rented separately.
The Farmstead is nestled in 42 acres of beautiful Texas Hill Country views. The heart of Melissa’s Farmstead was to save and re-purpose everything from the original homestead. You will see this from the homestead itself to the windmill, and even the old smoke shack that became an outdoor kitchen. Come relax on the large porches with cozy furniture and enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets over two large fields where wildlife is abundant. Enjoy a walk on the farmstead where a trail will take you through gorgeous old oak trees to the top of the hill with breathtaking hill country views.
Melissa’s Farmstead can accommodate up to 14 people with four king beds, four twin beds and a sofa bed in the bunk room.
