Landmark Historic German Home is an historic turn-of-the-century limestone rock home set in a large pecan orchard, yet still inside Fredericksburg and just 3 minutes from Main St. This verdant 5 acre estate is a "throwback", the remnant of a 30+ acre farm established by German immigrants in the 1800s. Sheep and whitetail deer graze in a pastoral scene, your own personal park. Experience Main St., Wine Road 290, tunes at Luckenbach, Enchanted Rock & many other unique Fredericksburg offerings, then return to this sanctuary. This is a very cool old house with tons of charm, but it DOES NOT HAVE all the amenities of typical B&Bs. For example the bathrooms are just regular tub and shower combinations. There is NO HOT TUB. There is CABLE TV, but NO WiFi. There is a DVD player and a very random assortment of movies. The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can sleep up to 10 guests.
