After building a relationship with Steve Newsom, the Jenschke family knew that they were ready to open a winery in Fredericksburg, Texas. The Newsom family shares similar values, work ethic, integrity and the passion required to build something great. The Newsom and Jenschke families take pride in building Jenschke Cellars. The wines are 100% Texas High Plains and celebrate the commitment to sustainable agriculture and family farming. It is very important to both families to honor their history and their legacy. They provide a selection of quality wines with something to satisfy every palate, from unique, fruit wines to traditional white and red varietals.
