Doss is a valley near Fredericksburg nestled among the limestone hills. Hidden Springs Ranch is a sheep ranch with two guesthouses, Wrangler and Foreman. The property has a creek, outdoor patio with smoker, fire pit, and grill, great for groups of up to six. You can rent the two cottages separately, but the best way to enjoy them is together. The cabins have a rustic feel, stained concrete floors, wood beamed ceilings and accents of tin on the walls, yet they are equipped with modern conveniences. When you walk up to the door, each cottage greets you with a long covered porch with comfortable seating.
Foreman Cabin: When you step inside you'll be in an open room with living area, dining area, and kitchen. A wood-burning stove at one end of the room adds a charming touch. The separate bedroom has a king bed and bathroom with shower. The screened porch just outside the cabin has an inviting wicker seating area, just waiting for you to relax with a drink after you step out of the hot tub. Sleeps two people.
Wrangler Cabin: The door opens into a large room with living area, kitchen and dining area —plus two twin beds, great for kids. A wood-burning stove warms the living area. The separate bedroom with king bed has charming voile curtains hung from willow branches. The bathroom has a shower. Sleeps two people.
