About

Ferris and Fletch is a family owned winery located on Main Street in Fredericksburg. Owner and winemaker, Rarig Ross, began his career in the wine industry in 2009 while working in the tasting room at Gainey Vineyards. He quickly realized his passion for wine production, and became an apprentice winemaker under Ryan Devolet at Refugio Ranch Vineyards. In 2015, he began his own custom crush company, California Wine Company, that serves clients across the world and is still operating today. Rarig and Ellery got married in 2016, and welcomed Ferris in 2019, and Fletcher in 2021. While Rarig had always dreamed of making wine under his own wine brand, the birth of his first son inspired him to pursue that dream. The family visited Fredericksburg in June of 2020, while visiting custom crush clients and family. They immediately fell in love with the town and surrounding area, and knew that they wanted to raise there children in the community. By July of 2021, they headed out in a rented moving truck and began to renovate the current tasting room, and they’ve never looked back. This is the start of the Texas-sized dream.

  • Wedding Facility Details: Our charming outdoor space can host a smaller wedding of about 125 people. We have a large grass lawn with pergolas and a large gravel patio with ample seating and shade. By Q2 2025 we will have our second expansion outdoors to include 10,000 sq feet additionally for ceremonies, receptions, and private dinner. The entire property on Main St is about 1 acre, mostly outdoor.

Ample outdoor seating invites guests to enjoy the fresh air while surrounded by the beauty of the Texas Hill Country tucked away on the heart of Main St. Whether hosting a corporate retreat, private party, casual meeting, or team building activity our space combines comfort and sophistication for a memorable experience. Ferris & Fletch also offers custom wine blending sessions, elevated tastings, and can cater to customized group needs. The tasting room is available to rent Monday-Thursday, and our second meeting room indoor is available Monday-Sunday
