Diamond Y Ranch, including The Homestead and Dog Trot Cabins (Mia and Beau), sits on four acres of Texas Hill Country ranch land. Dating back since the 1800s, the Homestead has welcomed many guests and families in its lifetime. It has been updated but still holds the original character that it has always possessed. Perfect venue for birthdays, family reunions, small weddings, etc., there is no comparison in the Hill Country! Just 15 minutes from Fredericksburg and 10 minutes from wineries, the home features high-end furnishings, comfortable linens, a fully-equipped kitchen with coffee and tea,. The home includes 2 king size beds, 1 queen bed, 2 twins, 2 updated bathrooms, washer, dryer, dish TV, WiFi, and a BBQ grill. The Diamond Y Saloon is also included. Once a barn, it is now a family friendly bar with a pool table, shuffleboard, game table, bar seating, TV, and kitchenette. It also has a bathroom, full size fridge, and ice maker. Guests have access to the pavilion and to the front 4 acres where they can walk, picnic, or even try to fish in the little pond. Guests can also go visit the rescue donkeys, Cupcake and Sassy, along with the Longhorn calf "Little Lyndon, named after Lyndon B. Johnson. Maximum occupancy is 11 guests.
If you have a larger group, you can also rent the Dog Trot Cabins. Cozy, inviting and peaceful, the "Mia" Dogtrot will make you feel like you are far from the hustle of day to day life and will let you take a step back in time while not giving up any luxuries of today. Named after the owner's beloved ranch dog Mia, which happens to mean "beloved", you will feel well taken care of as you enjoy the special touches this cabin has to offer. Lovely views and a wonderful breeze will welcome you upon your arrival. Close to wineries, cycling routes, sight seeing, and only 12 minutes to Main Street in Fredericksburg where you can shop, eat, and tour historic downtown. The "Beau" Dogtrot is named after the owner's other ranch dog Beau, which means "beautiful" in French. Each cabin sleeps 2 guests.
