These unique accommodations are located just blocks away from historic downtown Fredericksburg, making this the ideal location for your visit to the Hill Country.
The 1929 Craftsman Charmer is the 2 bedroom/2 bath main house on the property with a full kitchen, dining room and living room. Guests are greeted by the original hardwood floors, classic furnishings, and quaint touches, while still being spoiled by the modern comforts of home, like the WiFi enabled TV. Start the day at the coffee bar, and rest assured that the full kitchen and the outdoor grill will meet all of your cooking needs. The master bedroom has a king bed and a full bath with shower, while the guest bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath with a lovely clawfoot tub.
The Wash House is a private unit in the backyard that is ideal for the 2 adults in your group who simply must have their own space. The décor is reminiscent of the original laundry house purpose for this building, including a galvanized tub as the kitchen sink with water that comes from a well pump It includes a
kitchenette featuring a refrigerator, sink, coffee maker and microwave. The living area has a WiFi-enabled TV that can be swiveled so you can cast your favorite movies and watch from either the bed or the couch. The bathroom is adorned with 2 generous showerheads, providing a sweet oasis after a day on the town. Enjoy a restful night in the queen bed, then sip your morning coffee in your private courtyard with a one-of-a-kind flower wall. Be aware, there are low ceilings in some areas of the Wash House, so probably best for those 6’ tall and below.
After a full day of shopping, sight-seeing, or enjoying the local winery scene, you can all head out to the spacious backyard to gather around the fire tables or take a soak in the 6-person hot tub. This charming little piece of the past is more than ready to assist in making memories to last forever.
