WWII Field Kitchen Demonstration at the National Museum of the Pacific War

Experience how the U.S. Quartermaster Corps fueled those in combat. This authentic display will immerse visitors in the stressful job of feeding up to 150 hungry mouths while being prepared to fight at any given moment. Byron “Cooky” Vinyard from the Tri-State Living History Association will set up a fully operational WWII Field Kitchen at the Oveta Culp Hobby Education Center next to the Pacific Combat Zone.
10 am to 4 pm daily. Admission is free.
