Memorial Day Program at the National Museum of the Pacific War
May 27 2019 to May 27 2019
Join the National Museum of the Pacific War as they remember those who gave their lives for the freedoms we enjoy today. We are excited to welcome Eric D. Brown, Deputy Director, Texas State Veterans Cemeteries Program as our keynote speaker this year. This year the Navy Information Operation Command (NIOC) Choir from San Antonio will be here to perform the National Anthem and the Nimitz Living History Detachment will execute the 3-Gun Volley followed by Taps performed by Bill Smallwood. We will also be recognizing more than 73 wreaths placed around the Memorial Courtyard as part of our Memorial Wall Endowment.
10 am. This event is free and open to the public but seating is limited. When seats are filled standing room is available as well.
