About
Join the National Museum of the Pacific War for a celebration of the contributions of the WASP Program to WWII. During WWII, the United States established the Women Airforce Service Pilots program to help ferry planes, tow targets and conduct flight tests. Women stepped up in droves to help, freeing up men to serve abroad.
At this family-friendly, open house style event, the museum will be showing a brief film about the WASPs, focusing on an interaction between Hazel, a WASP and a farmer from Texas.
