Outpost: Seabees at The National Museum of The Pacific War

About

In the early days of the Pacific War, the United States Navy formed Construction Battalions that would be tasked with building the roads, ports, airstrips, and barracks the drive across the Pacific would require. Affectionately referred to as Seabees, these “Can Do!” sailors fought and built their way through the war. Come to this FREE Outpost program to learn more about the contributions of these prolific builders and craftsmen. This program offers an up-close-and-personal opportunity for you to interact with and even handle real artifacts from the Pacific War!

Programs are offered at 11:45, 12:00, 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, and 2:30 at the Pacific Combat Zone.

The Outposts are free and open to the public, there is no need for a ticket!
