New Moon Night Hike at Enchanted Rock

Hike the challenging 0.8-mile Summit Trail with a ranger shortly after sunset and experience the magic of nightfall on Enchanted Rock. On the darkest night of the month, the stars still shine big and bright deep in the heart of Texas. Join a ranger for a guided hike to the top of Enchanted Rock and learn about the nocturnal life in the park. Meet at the gazebo at the Summit Trailhead. Bring water, bug spray and comfortable hiking shoes. Registration is required. Email to reserve a spot, space is limited to 25.
