Movies Under the Stars at the LBJ Ranch "Hidden Figures"

A great way to enjoy timeless classics while experiencing a fun-filled night on the LBJ Ranch - just like friends of the Johnsons experienced in the 60s and 70s. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and refreshments. Parking will be on the airstrip taxiway adjacent to the movie site. Well-behaved and leashed pets are welcome. The movie will start at dusk.

The featured film this month is "Hidden Figures". Three brilliant African-American women at NASA -- Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe) -- serve as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn (Glen Powell) into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation's confidence, turned around the Space Race and galvanized the world.
