Kids Fishing Day 2025 at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park

This event is free and open to the public. It includes a self-guided casting practice station and rainbow trout fishing. There will be some fishing poles available to use, but participants are free to bring their own fishing pole from home. Bait and other equipment will be provided. Hot cocoa and coffee will be available for free to guests at Open Pavilion #4.  As a reminder, anyone over the age of 17 must have a valid fishing license.
