Join the Wool Brigade at LBJ State Park and Historic Site

Celebrate Knit in Public Day and learn how public knitting was important during World War 1.  Celebrate Knit in Public Day by pulling up a chair at the Sauer-Beckmann Farm and learn how knitting clubs formed throughout the United States to help soldiers during World War I. Try your hand at crafting a washcloth while gathering stories of the home front.  Already a knitter? Bring your own project and join us for some knitting.
We're not 'knit'-picky -- folks who crochet are welcome, too!
