What do the Four Freedoms mean today, over 75 years after President Roosevelt delivered them to Congress in his speech? That is the question this exhibit wants to explore. The Four Freedoms exhibit will be cultivated by those born in the 21st century to help shed light on what the Freedoms mean to them today.
Students aged 12 to 18 are invited to submit one original piece of art showing their interpretation of one of the Four Freedoms: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Worship, Freedom from Want and Freedom from Fear. The selection committee will select a total of 48 artworks, divided into categories of ages and particular freedom, to put on display from October 2, 2020 to April 18, 2021. Please contact the museum for additional information.
Please note that the museum is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
