On September 2, the National Museum of the Pacific War will host a special program commemorating the 80th anniversary of V-J Day, the day Japan formally surrendered, and World War II came to an end. The evening will begin at 5:00 PM with a soft opening of the newly renovated George H.W. Bush Gallery, offering guests an exclusive first look at reimagined exhibits that tell the story of the Pacific War in powerful new ways.
