FREDERICKSBURG, Texas --- The Fredericksburg Convention and Visitor Bureau (FCVB) recently added experienced journalist, McKenzie Moellering as its Communications & Digital Content Associate.

Moellering will join the FCVB’s communications team in promoting Fredericksburg and Gillespie County as a travel destination using social media and the bureau’s website - VisitFredericksburgTX.com. She will also create digital content for the FCVB’s platforms and for use in its digital advertising campaigns. Serving as a key editor of the ever-expanding data that is used to power VisitFredericksburgTX.com, Moellering will work with local partners to ensure the accuracy of their website listings on the FCVB site.

Originally from Colorado, Moellering earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast & Journalism with a minor in Communications Studies from Hastings College in 2016. She comes to the FCVB, after nearly five years as a reporter with the Fredericksburg Standard-Radio Post, where she covered local government and business, wrote and photographed feature stories and led digital media campaigns for the largest non-metro weekly paper in Texas.  Moellering enjoys running, cheering on the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies, and spending time with family and friends.
