Bestfest Celebrates German Food, Drink and Music SEP 11 2019
If you have ever been to Fredericksburg’s Oktoberfest and are hankering for more bier and brats, get your fix at the ninth annual Knights of Columbus Bestfest on Saturday, October 19, at Marktplatz.
Bestfest 2019 will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m., bringing 12 solid hours of all-you-can-eat sausage with sauerkraut and German potato salad. Need something to wash it all down? In addition to tea, water and soft drinks, a number of specialty beers and wine will be available for purchase.
When not polka dancing, Bestfest festival goers can partake in big-ticket-item raffle drawings, including a drawing for a Kawasaki Mule, numerous “bucket” raffles and kid-friendly activities. Admission is $10 for ages 14 and older; $5 for ages 5-13; and free admission for ages 5 and under. The entry fee includes all-you-can-eat sausage with German-style side dishes. Beer tasting tickets are sold separately. An evening dance with Texas Country artist Weldon Henson will begin at 7:00 p.m.
