For a third-straight year, Fredericksburg was ranked a top-10 “Best Small Town for Shopping” in the United States by USA Today’s 10Best readers.

After being selected as one of 20 nominees by a panel of experts, Fredericksburg’s top-10 finish was determined by voting on the 10Best website that was conducted during May and June.

The recognition stated that “more than 150 shops line the streets of historic Fredericksburg in the Texas Hill Country, including many antique dealers and furniture design studios, making the town a popular destination for Texans looking to furnish a home.“

USA Today’s 10Best goes on to highlight Fredericksburg’s variety of shops by encouraging visitors to “take home a taste of Texas from Rustlin’ Rob’s Texas Gourmet Foods, handmade crosses and plaques from The Seasons or ‘traditional chic’ fashion at Jabberwocky.”

The diversity of stores on and off Main Street, include antiques warehouses, art galleries, bakeries, candle shops, fashion havens, jewelry stores, home décor outlets, restaurants, western hat and boot showrooms and wine tastings rooms that showcase Texas Wine Country.
