Put some red, white and blue on your car, wagon, float, trailer, tractor or other form of transportation, and join the Fourth of July Parade in Fredericksburg on Thursday, July 4 at 10:00 a.m., with line-up of entries at 9:00 a.m. Parade entries are free. Download a parade entry application here.
June wildflowers are blooming along Gillespie County roads and in open fields. See fields of red and gold; and if you look, you will also find purple, pink and white. See photos of the wildflowers at LBJ State Park and Historic Site as of June 1.
