Chisholm Trail Winery celebrated its 10th Anniversary in 2011 and is located 9 miles west of Fredericksburg on Hwy 290 West, then 2.4 miles south on Usener Road.  It is the home of “The Spirit of the Old West” where Longhorn cattle and quarter horses roam freely by the scenic Spring Creek.  The spectrum of award-winning wines available at the winery are all handcrafted by Paula K. Williamson.  The winery has a large saloon-type tasting room and is open daily.  Wood-fired gourmet pizza is also served each Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  In addition, the winery hosts special events throughout the year, including those of the Wine Road 290 and The Texas Hill Country Wine Region.  Visit our website for more information.

For the holidays, the winery will be open on Saturdays in December from 11 am to 6 pm.  The winery will be open Christmas Eve from 11 am to 3 pm and will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.  The Oval Oven will be serving wood-fired gourmet pizza each Friday, Saturday and Sunday except Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
