Spring Break at the Pioneer Museum

Enjoy a memorable getaway with the entire family and travel back in time. Demonstrations and hands-on activities for children and adults illustrating daily life in early Fredericksburg and Gillespie County including blacksmithing, spinning, rope making, storytelling, chuck wagon cooking and folk singing. There will also be re-enactors on site who will recreate the days of Mountain Men, Buffalo Soldiers and more. And don’t forget Texas History Day on Saturday, March 16 with great activities day and evening!
Daily from 10 am to 5 pm. Museum admission is $5 for adults; $3 for students; children under 5 are free.
