Richard Loffler Solo Exhibition at InSight Gallery
Oct 19 2018 to Nov 09 2018
Join us for a One Man Show, “Wild Treasures”, featuring bronze wildlife artist, Richard Loffler. This show will be of epic proportions with nine NEW works unveiled at the gallery. Additionally, the last casting of nine of his most popular, otherwise sold out bronze pieces, will be available at the show. Join InSight Gallery for a special uncrating party on Saturday, October 20, followed by a lecture and demonstration on bronze casting given by the artist. Mr. Loffler grew up on the wide-open Saskatchewan prairies in central Canada where he became a committed outdoorsman as a teenager by absorbing the wonders of the natural world around him. His monumental size work welcomes visitors from all over the world to the National Wildlife Museum in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with a herd of 2.5 life-size bison sitting atop the hill in front of the museum. Now, 60 years old, Loffler juggles his time between his fieldwork, his studio work and the Montana foundries where he chases some of the castings, oversees the patinas, and completed works. This show is sure to impress! Please join us on Saturday, October 20, for an Uncrating Party at 10 am, an Artist’s Lecture at 11 am and a special Artist’s Reception at 6 pm. Please RSVP if you plan to attend.
