German Heritage Day at the Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm

A day of celebrating German lifestyles, arts and crafts, and daily living skills.  Watch the soap maker, candlemaker and spoon carver as they make the essentials used daily on the farm.  A “Must Stop” destination on your travel plans as you experience the many local communities and their fall celebrations in October.

10 am to 3 pm.  Free, but donations are welcome.

  • Put some red, white and blue on your car, wagon, float, trailer, tractor or other form of transportation, and join the Fourth of July Parade in Fredericksburg on Thursday, July 4 at 10:00 a.m., with line-up of entries at 9:00 a.m. Parade entries are free.
